Since the library currently resides inside the Fine Arts Academy Building at Chalmette High School, our space is extremely limited. As such, we have no dedicated space for meeting or study rooms.
However, meetings that are free and open to the public can be held in the front lobby during normal library hours. We can provide some tables and chairs, but there is no guarantee of privacy as people will be passing by to enter and exit the library. Space and equipment are limited. You must call the library to make an appointment to use this area.
Likewise, study rooms are not available either. The quietest place to study is a long table in the back corner of the library and two desk units by the magazine racks. First come, first served.
